Szia 123,

Thanks for your questions! Yes, it's kind of difficult to say whether we refer to a friend or a boyfriend, girlfriend. Usually, for a simple friend we use the indefinite article:

Egy barátom / barátnőm ( a friend of mine)

And for your love:

A barátom / barátnőm (my boyfriend / girlfriend)

I hope it will help you! :)

Boldog Valentin napot!

Sok szeretettel,

Dorottya

(my) Beloved - szerelmem

(my)Sweetheart - szívem

Husband - férj

(my) Husband - férjem

Boldog Valentin napot!

Szeretettel,

I have a question: "Barát" can mean both friend and boyfriend, am I right?

How about the nouns "darling", "beloved","lover", "sweetheart" and "husband"?

"I want to you" could be misunderstood! :)
