I really like these lists where you have the image and the word plus the pronunciation. But I find when I add any of these words to my flash cards or my word bank the images are not there. It would be really great if there were a way to have the images show up there to speed up learning.
Szia Remy!
Great to hear! 😇👍
Feel free to contact us if you have any questions along the way.

Sziasztok to you all at team HungarianPod101,
I've just started the course and I'm getting my head around the pronunciations and the basic vocabulary.
Viszontlátásra
Szia Marc,
I would use ön, instead of maga.
"És ön honnan való?" - This is absolutely polite enough! 😎
Thanks for the question!

Hello!
When asking "where are you from", the expression "és te/maga, honnan való" is enough polite?
Thanks!
Szia Brandon!
'I'm very sorry!' means 'Nagyon sajnálom!'
Jó tanulást!
Cheers,

szia!
How do you say I'm very sorry
Hi Stephen,
Good question! 😊
You’re right! Both mean: Where are you from? but
’Honnan jöttél’ is used in informal situations, for example when you meet new friends,
’Honnan származik’ emphasizes the origin of the person: What’s your (country of) origin? and is more likely to be used in official, formal situations.
I hope you enjoy learning Hungarian with us.

Szia!
What is the difference between Honnan jöttél? and Honnan származik? From what I understand they both mean "Where are you from?". Are they used in different social interactions or are they interchangeable?
Köszönöm!
